One thing about the weather here in Paducah...if you don't like it, just wait a day and you'll get something different. Today it was 70 degrees and the birds are starting to come back. A pair of Eastern Bluebirds came looking for a nest today. Look at this beauty. His breast was so bright in the late afternoon sun.

  1. Hi, Bonnie! Happy National Quilting Day!

I wrote a post about National Quilting Day and how it got started. I always think of Phyllis Miller on this day.

Lots of people have visited my blog today. One of them said to tell Phyllis "thank you". I don't know how to get in touch with her, but I knew you probably would.

Please tell her that Amanda Harvey from the Owensboro Area Quilter's Guild said hello and thanks. I also know her from the Runaway Quilters Retreat.

I have plans to spend a few days in Paducah this year for the quilt show. I am looking forward to it. I am the chairperson for my guild's quilt show. It's so much smaller than yours, but still a lot of work to put it together.

I hope you had fun today quilting!
